Pennie
Pennie Nichols is a writer, creative guide, and lifelong maker whose impulse to create has shaped every turn of her life. She gardens, bakes, sews, writes essays and fiction, and tends many creative threads—always exploring the space where inner life meets outward expression.
After years of balancing a demanding professional path with a deep pull toward creative flow, Pennie chose to make space for what she most loves: writing, making, and helping others reconnect with their own creative pulse. She is a trained affiliate of the Amherst Writers & Artists (AWA) organization, whose philosophy—that every voice is unique, valuable, and worthy of expression—infuses her approach to facilitation.
At Inner Garden Creative Retreats, Pennie brings her grounded, heart-centered presence to every gathering, creating a space where guests can rest, reflect, and rediscover the joy of writing. Guided by her belief that creativity is healing, relational, and deeply intertwined with identity, she invites guests to let go of self-doubt and create from the heart.
