Whether you’re an established artist or writer looking for new scenery or a busy working mom who doesn’t consider herself creative (but would love for someone to make her meals for a weekend), you’ll fit right in.

Our retreats, which contain a mix of writing, art, and movement, welcome adults of all levels of ability and experience.

We’ll give you the tools you need to trust your intuition, push your limits, dive into experimentation, and perhaps learn to express yourself in new ways—all in a serene environment.

After attending a retreat together, we started daydreaming about how we’d do it differently —combining art and words to create an all-inclusive experience at Fairpop Farm.

Once we could visualize it, the experience started to become real. Today, the Inner Garden Retreat Center welcomes all types of creatives for a weekend of cross-pollination and interconnection, and we’d love for you to join us.

Our workshops immerse you in activities that will stay with you and become practices long after your retreat experience.

Welcome to
Fairpop Farm

Inner Garden Creative Retreat Center is located on a family farm in Washington Parish, one hour north of New Orleans.

The Center offers spaces in three homes, a total of eight private bedrooms plus a large loft area with extra sleeping accommodations. Retreat hosts and guests can enjoy serene walks around the property during the day and fire pits at night.

I’ve had a phobia about my lack of creativity and this was an opportunity to test it in a safe place and persuade myself that I’m not a totally lost cause.
