Nice to meet you, we’re Pennie and Jackie
After attending a retreat together, we started daydreaming about how we’d do it differently.
We began as college suitemates, then housemates—friends who grew up together through the early chaos of becoming adults. After graduation, as our lives branched into different cities, careers, and relationships, we stayed connected—checking in, sharing creative sparks, and traveling when we could.
In our fifties, those conversations deepened into a shared practice of support: creative check-ins, resource swaps, and the occasional retreat to recharge. Eventually, we realized that this connection—this creative exchange—was the journey. From that realization, Inner Garden Creative Retreats was born in 2023.
At Inner Garden, our work is grounded in the values we’ve gathered along our individual and shared paths. We bring our experience as artists and facilitators, but our true purpose is to create a space where guests can access their own intuition and inner artist—to create from the heart. In this high-vibration space, we invite each guest to rest into self-love, respect, and honor as they explore their creative unfolding.
